Key strategies for securing retirement income and ensuring the future health of the practice will be discussed in detail. \nCourse Objectives Part 3: \n\nUnderstand the key components of a successful retirement and succession plan for dental practice owners.\nAssess the value of their dental practice and identify strategies to enhance its worth.\nExplore various exit strategies and choose the best option based on personal and financial goals.\nImplement strategies for transitioning ownership smoothly\, ensuring minimal disruption to patients and staff.\nPlan for retirement by exploring financial tools such as retirement accounts\, investments\, and sale proceeds.\n\nAudience: Doctors Only \nMeet the Instructors: Dr Jennifer Bell\, D.D.S.\, FAGD\, FICD\, FPFA \nDr. Jennifer Bell is a native of Lexington\, North Carolina.  She earned her undergraduate and dental graduate degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  Upon graduation\, she completed advanced education in general dentistry program at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Fayetteville\, NC. \nIn 2010\, Dr. Bell along with her business partner started a general dentistry practice in Holly Springs\, NC.  They opened their second practice in Angier\, NC in 2017.  Their practices treat all ages and complexity of cases.   Her main interests include rehabilitation cases\, complex prosthodontic cases\, laser dentistry\, and sleep disorders. \nDr. Bell has earned fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) where she has served the North Carolina state chapter as president most recently as executive director.  In 2013\, Dr. Bell served as the first chair of the New Dentist committee for the AGD where she served for three years.  Currently\, Dr. Bell is serving as an AGD National Spokesperson\, member of the Dental Practice Council and member of Governance Evaluation and Review Committee.  In addition to her work with the AGD\, Dr. Bell is an active member in the American Dental Association\, the North Carolina Dental Society\, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and a fellow in the International College of Dentists.  In March 2018\, she graduated from the Dr. John Kois continuum in Seattle\, Washington.  Dr. Bell also currently serves as a clinical reviewer with Catapult Education group.  Dr. Bell has recently been published in Compendium of Continuing Education in Dentistry and co-hosts a weekly Facebook live show called Dentists in the Know.   Outside of dentistry\, Dr. Bell is active with Kiwanis International and other local philanthropic organizations in her community. \nDr. Bell and her husband Brian reside in Holly Springs\, NC and have three children: Benjamin\, Lillian and Evelyn.
